Laboratory of Biomaterial and Ophthalmic Drug is affiliated to the State Key Laboratory Cultivation Base, Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Ophthalmology. Our research focuses on the application and basic research of biomaterials and ophthalmic drugs, which is carried out in the following two aspects: (1) synthesis, characterization of biomaterials and their applications in ophthalmic drug delivery ; (2) qualitative and quantitative analysis of small molecules in ophthalmic samples. The platform is equipped with high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometer, high-performance liquid chromatography, high speed centrifuger and some other equipments, which can meet the needs for biomaterials and ophthalmic drug researches. Laboratory of Biomaterial and Ophthalmic Drug is a newly-built platform, and there is an assitant professor in the platform. Our platform is funded by the Shandong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, China (ZR2019BB061) and Open Foundation of the State Key Laboratory of Bioactive Seaweed Substances (MAKLSF1811). As the first author, co-first author or co-corresponding author, the member in our platform has published eight papers in SCI in recent years.
